You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. This includes:

  • Deleting your entire account and all associated data
  • Deleting specific data entries (e.g., a company profile or AI output)
  • Revoking access to connected third-party services

4. How to Request Data Deletion

To request data deletion, users can:

  • Navigate to Settings > Privacy > Delete My Data within the Bright Spark app
  • Or email us at [email protected] with the subject line: Data Deletion Request

For verification, we may request account-related information or email confirmation before proceeding.

5. Processing Time

We aim to process all deletion requests within 7 business days. You will receive confirmation once your data has been permanently removed from our systems.

6. Data Retention Exceptions

Some data may be retained for a limited period if required:

  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., financial or fraud prevention)
  • For backup and disaster recovery systems (max retention: 30 days)
  • For resolving disputes or enforcing our Terms of Service

Such data will be securely stored and deleted as soon as legally permissible.

7. Third-Party Services

If you’ve linked third-party tools (e.g., Google, Meta, analytics tools), Bright Spark is not responsible for deletion on those platforms. Please refer to the privacy policies of those services to request removal directly.
